I’m not familiar with the word "tool watch". I have a SD but I just consider it a watch,a sturdy stocked-in-the-70ies-design watch,not really a tool,cool but not tool 
.
A true tool watch for me is any Timex I use for my running.
I diving tool watch today is I guess any LCD wrist computer that can tell you and must tell you a lot of things while underwater and least but not last the time.
